The relationship between Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat continues to get ugly as the veteran power forward has not yet been given the go-signal to play next season. According to the latest NBA rumors, the Heat will be trading Bosh to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Kevin Love.
Chris Bosh remains questionable to be back on the court since he was sidelined for having blood clot issues. Though he was seen practicing in the gym, the Miami Heat are not yet giving him the clearance to play for them in the 2016-17 NBA season.
According to Barry Jackson of Miami Herald, Chris Bosh is frustrated with how the Heat is handling the situation.
“We’re told the Bosh camp remains frustrated with the Heat’s handling of his situation, and that’s part of the reason Bosh and wife Adrienne have gone on a social media blitz this week. As one NBA official said, Bosh wants the public to know he wants to play amid the Heat’s silence,” Jackson said.
One of the major reasons why the Heat remains undecided to let Chris Bosh play is his recurring health ailments. Bosh is undeniably a big loss for the Heat. However, if they are not decided to let him play they should consider moving him to another team who is willing to give a fair return.
In a suggested trade scenario, the Miami Heat could offer Chris Bosh for Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers. This works on the ESPN trade machine. LeBron James will surely appreciate reuniting with his former teammate in Cleveland. There is no doubt that Bosh is a better tandem with James than Love.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra revealed that he wants his team to ‘run more’ next season, making Chris Bosh’s not fit with their strategy. Adding a player like Kevin Love on their roster will ease the departure of Dwyane Wade, especially on the offensive end.
However, NBA fans should note that these are just rumors that may or may not happen before the deadline. If this trade becomes a reality, it could help both teams in filling up the needs to improve on their roster.
