Clearly, the Philadelphia 76ers are doing their best to arrange a trade that would send one of their big men, Nerlens Noel, to other teams. Rumors are now swirling that Noel will be involved in a three-way trade.
The trade suggestion is to have Noel sent to the Timberwolves for Ricky Rubio, who will be shipped to the Phoenix Suns, and get Brandon Knight to the Philadelphia 76ers. It is a known fact that the 76ers want a point guard who could not only space out the floor, but also score. That is why for the trade to work for all, Knight should be involved as well.
Minnesota has been shopping Ricky Rubio throughout the week. His future in Minnesota is likely coming to an end.

Rubio lacks the scoring ability, despite reports that the Timberwolves is bringing in a coach who will keep an eye on Rubio’s development. But despite his lack of a scoring threat, Rubio still finishes with a decent average of 10.1 points, 8.6 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game.
Though Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor stated that they will not trade Rubio, but the mere fact of getting a big man who could size up with other teams might get him to reconsider his early decision.
Noel is a young, upcoming star and Tom Thibodeau could very well guide him. He could be a worthy investment considering what Thibodeau has done with the Chicago Bulls during his tenure with the team. But for the trade to ever happen, they must get the Suns to let go of Brandon Knight, who is a perfect fit for the 76ers.
Knight is a pesky point guard who could put in 19.6 points, 5.1 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game. He is the playmaker that the 76ers will need to space out the floor in offense and get the 76ers’ big men involved in every play.
The 76ers are running out of trade options for their big men and though this trade has not officially been discussed. Hopefully, the 76ers could get commitments from both the Timberwolves and Suns, which are also taking the rebuilding process this season. The trade could very well take them to the goals that they have each set for the new season as well.
