The NBA Finals still going, but most NBA teams across the league are focusing on their team strategies. The 2016 NBA Draft is only a few weeks away, and several NBA teams are now working on plans on how to effectively get one or more of the league’s big-name free agents set to hit the open market. And one of these big free agent names is the Oklahoma City Thunder star forward, Kevin Durant

Rumors are rife on the web that Kevin Durant might be ended up playing for the Boston Celtics. The team has been reportedly earlier having plans to make a play for Durant, one that something that Isaiah Thomas wants to happen. In fact, Thomas sent out a tweet that was later deleted, showing his desire to have Durant on Celtics, advising Durant to head for Boston, not Los Angeles.

Thomas also added that he has given Durant enough time to recover after his team’s devastating defeat in the Western Conference Finals, but reports said that Thomas is planning a full-court press for Durant these coming days.

The Thunder superstar has sparked rumors back in March when he praised the City of Boston, leading many NBA insiders and fans to believe that he was considering signing on for the Boston Celtics.

The rumors surrounding Durant have started last year but reached high gear when the Oklahoma City’s bid for the NBA title had finally come to an end. Reports said that Celtics are keen on signing the Oklahoma City star, and has now taken the lead in the race behind the efforts of NBA legend Isaiah Thomas.

Rumor of those teams making plays for the Thunder superstar are no longer new, these have swirled around the NBA circle for several months. Earlier on March, Chris of Mannix of the Vertical has made earlier reports that the NBA were expecting the San Antonio to make at for Durant.

The San Antonio has already given Kawhi Leonard an extension of his contract and signed LaMarcus Aldridge, thus creating a powerful coalition that has the potential to dominate the next season games after the retirement of Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili.

Many people thought that Durant would be a good fit in San Antonio and that he would make a fresh start at the team and would no longer face the pressure that he had experienced before at Oklahoma City Thunder.

“I think I’m playing a little more free than I used to,” Durant said in a statement, via the Yahoo Sports. “I used to put a lot of pressure on myself. I’d think, ‘Maybe I’m not being a good enough leader. Maybe I should change my personality.’ I was always thinking what if I change this, what if I change that, instead of just going out and being me. I’ve just been about playing the game at the level I like playing at and playing with the level of joy I like playing with.”But the most intriguing and interesting part of the NBA rumors are that of the Golden State Warriors having linked to Kevin Durant. Sources said that the Warriors are keen on signing the Oklahoma City star and that the team management has been for years to make a pitch for Durant join its former adversaries, Stephen Curry.

But, there’s also rumors coming out lately that Durant might end up also playing again for the Oklahoma City Thunder. This is possible because the Thunders are able to offer him a much bigger contract. Some said that Durant is still hoping for the team to get the chance at winning the NBA title next season.
