Rapper Snoop Dogg, known as Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr., showed how he values friendship as he offers a customized convertible as his retirement gift to Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant.

Snoop Dogg’s gift is a convertible with a bright purple and gold color with drawings of some of the legends who played with the Lakers. However, the biggest picture placed on the car’s hood is of Snoop Dogg himself wearing a Lakers jersey holding a trophy. A report from NBA.com stated the pictures on the car’s hood is that of Lakers legends, namely Magic Johnson, James Worthy and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar together with Bryant.

The gift that keeps on giving. Enjoy it mamba 💫✨🌟👏🏾🔌

It would be remembered that Bryant retired after 20 years of playing for the franchise where he started his career back in 1996. He was drafted originally by the Charlotte Hornets but was traded immediately to the Lakers. At age 17, Bryant would become one of the league’s finest scorers and the rest would be, as they say, history.

Back to his gift, Snoop noted that the interior of the vehicle features white leather seats emblazoned with the word “Lakers” and a dashboard that continues the purple and gold aesthetic. Snoop is a known Lakers fanatic and his gift is an expression of his appreciation to what Bryant has done for the Lakers. He once showed off his personal Lakers-themed basketball court during a tour of his home on “MTV Cribs.”
