The Golden State Warriors made a history on Wednesday night, becoming the first team in the NBA to reach 73 wins during a single regular season. The Warriors beat the previous NBA record of 72 wins, originally set by Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls during the 1995-96 season.
Leading the charge for the 73rd win is Warriors’s guard Stephen Curry, who scored 46 points and topped the 400 3-pointer mark. Jordan congratulated the Warriors after their historic game.
For Warriors this is a huge celebration, and the team will not going to pass this historic day without a celebration. Yes, they’re celebrating their best season and they do it in style, taking a great dinner at a stylish restaurant in San Francisco.
It was such a well-kept secret that even some of the employees at the San Francisco-based B44 restaurant didn’t know the entire Warriors team would be there on Thursday night.
At around 7p.m. Thursday, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, coach Steve Kerr and the rest of the Warriors team came to the B44 restaurant to have a great dinner night and some drinks after Wednesday’s record-breaking 73rd victory of the season. There’s a lot of talks and laughter from their table. Warriors left the B44 restaurant around 9 p.m. in the evening.
It’s not just a celebration, it’s also a get together to rally the Warriors for their second round of game on Saturday, this time against the Houston Rockets.
