NFL Preseason: Throwback uniforms for Rams as they host the Cowboys; Preview and Live Stream

After 22 years the Los Angeles Rams have come back and as they play against the Dallas Cowboys for their preseason match, it will be a literal throwback for the Rams as they will use their old uniform.

It will be nostalgia for everyone who would be either watching the game from their home, through live streaming and for those who will be in attendance. The Rams are reportedly set to use the kind of uniforms they largely wore in the 1960s. It is a combination of white blue numerals, a blue slash on the shoulder, with a blue and white helmet.

“In the days of the Fearsome Foursome, the Rams used to wear white on white — so this is a modern nod back to our history in the Coliseum and in Los Angeles,” the Rams said in a news release through ESPN.

But aside from the uniform, the Rams will host the Cowboys in their preseason match at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. It will be historical in the sense as it will be the first time that the Rams will play host in the coliseum in 36 years.

Fans are going crazy of the fact that the Rams have come back home. One fan stated that he is very much eager to see the team play in Los Angeles and he is getting goosebumps since he last seen them play in 1994.

After the 1994 NFL season, the Rams left California and moved east to St. Louis, Missouri. Five seasons after relocating, the team won Super Bowl 34 in a 23–16 victory over the Tennessee Titans. They would continue to play in Missouri until the end of the 2015 season. The team would then file for relocation back to Los Angeles, which was approved via majority vote of 30-2.

For their preseason match, the Rams are favorites to beat the Cowboys Saturday. Though the Rams will be led by Case Keenum, a majority would want to see Jared Goff in action. For the Cowboys, Tony Romo is likely to be in action as he is still trying to recover from a collarbone surgery.

Rookie Dak Prescott is certainly next in line in the quarterback position since backup Kellen Moore is also out of action due to an ankle injury. Prescott’s performance will be a make or break for the Cowboys, who are stubborn enough to look for a veteran arm to lead them in the coming season.

The Rams vs. Cowboys preseason match can also be seen via live stream at NFL Game Pass and can be seen on the small screen via ESPN at 8 p.m. EST.
