Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak is lost for words as he continues to seek for an answer to the question after their 31-24 loss to the San Francisco 49ers over the weekend. Kubiak has no answer yet on who will take the starting position as the team’s quarterback
Kubiak kept his emotion to his self as he witnessed how Mark Sanchez fumbles the ball twice. He also saw Trevor Siemian throwing a costly pass that missed the hands of intended receiver, Demaryius Thomas. As Kubiak’s two quarterbacks could not get the job done, he looks to rookie Paxton Lynch.
“I foresee myself trying to find a way to fix some mistakes,” Kubiak said. “I’m going to take it a day at a time. That’s where I’m going right now.”

Kubiak needs a consistent leader on the field to give Lynch the baptism of fire. Many speculate that Lynch might get a taste of the starting gig if both Sanchez and Siemian continue to struggle. Kubiak stresses that he has three quarterbacks at his dispose of and he will not hesitate to use all of them even if it means giving Lynch the job as well.
“We evaluate them just like we evaluate every other player. You go out and run plays… At the end of the day, it’s your job to protect the ball. That’s the most important thing. That’s something coming out of (Saturday) wasn’t good enough,” Kubiak explained.

Kubiak is calling for a team meeting Monday and will not take the field not until Wednesday as they prepare for the Los Angeles Rams. It is perceived as their last pre-season game at which Kubiak will name who will start for them at the quarterback position. If Sanchez and Siemian are hoping to snag the position, then the game against the Rams will be the perfect opportunity.
