Anne Hathaway’s reason for unique name to her baby revealed

Anne Hathaway and her husband Adam Shulman welcomed a baby boy on March 24 in Los Angeles. The news was kept secret and it was only a few days ago that it was confirmed by one of Hathaway’s representatives. The baby boy was named Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman. It’s an interesting middle name for the boy and the reason behind it is the combination of names from both sides of the baby’s family.

Anne Hathaway’s paternal grandfather’s name was Roseline and Banks were Adam’s mother’s maiden name. It has to be noted that Adam’s middle name is also Banks. Hence, the unique middle name of Rosebanks arose from within the family itself, as reported by E! News.

“Hathaway gave birth to her little one in March 24, and currently is surrounded by friends and family in LA. The baby is extremely healthy. Anne and Adam are ecstatic to be parents.” A source close to the couple said.

It has also been revealed that the duo is considering more children in the future, but at the moment, they want to take it “one baby at a time”.  Both Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman feel that the newborn will provide a new bonding experience for them and are ecstatic for the future.

Both started dating from 2008 when they were introduced by a mutual friend. Shulman proposed Anne in November 2011 and the couple tied the knot in September the following year at Big Sur, California.

The Oscar winning actress has taken a break from her acting career to experience the joy of motherhood. She is scheduled to appear in the upcoming movie “The Baby Shower” and also star in a television adaption of “The Abassador’s Wife” by Jennifer Steil.
