“Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” premiered to a huge reception in New York on Sunday Night. Superman’s mother in the film, Diane Lane attended the Premier with her daughter Eleanor Lambert. Both lighted up the premiere and their smiles proved how fun they had at the event.
“I am endlessly impressed with his (Zack Snyder) imagination. Who gets offered the opportunity to bring such things to the screen for millions of people? That’s tremendous. It’s an honor and a burden.” Diane Lane said, as reported by comicbooknews.com.
The 51-year-old Diane Lane plays Clark Kent’s mother, Martha Kent in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice”. She sported a floral dress with a plunging neckline designed by Naeem Khan. Her 22-year-old daughter was seen in a white crop top and skirt, according to Huffington Post.
All the stars of the show including Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot attended the premiere alongside Lane and her daughter. Director of the film Zack Snyder was also present at the event and had Will Smith, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Matthew Morrison alongside him.
“I always said if I had a son that would be the ultimate test. Raise a good man – there’s something noble about that.” Lane added on the movie.
Diane Lane played alongside Kevin Costner in the first film. However, she had to play her role alone in the current version since Costner’s character was killed in the first film via a tornado.
“Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” will highlight the much anticipated showdown between two of the most famous superheroes characters in the history of comic books. The movie will also feature Jesse Eisenberg as the super villain Lex Luthor along with Doomsday.
