Don Omar and Tego Calderon, who played the Puerto Rican duo, Santos and Leo, respectively, were last seen on Fast Five where they become officially part of Dominic Torreto’s crew. They became an essential key for the team to gain access in all the CCTV’s connected, all over the place.

In the last part of Fast Five, the Puerto Rican duo was seen enjoying their money in a casino and promised to take a cooking lesson after serving burned steak. Don Omar and Tego Calderon did not take part in Fast 6 and 7.

Another thing that is expected to spice up Fast 8 is the photo posted by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. In his Instagram post, he posted a picture of his character, Hobbs, in an orange jumpsuit and handcuffs.

With this post, it seems like ‘The Rock’ will be spending most of the Fast 8 in jail. Recalling in his Instagram post in May, Johnson hinted the fans about the new version of Hobbs in Fast 8.

“When you strip a man of all he has. All that’s important to him. You force him to return to his roots.. and sometimes that’s a very dangerous and twisted place.”

“If I was going to return for another FAST & FURIOUS I wanted to come in and disrupt the franchise in a cool way that got the fans fired up and their blood pumping to see a new version of Hobbs and his “Daddy’s gotta go to work” mentality and set the table in a cool way for where the character goes in the future.” Dwayne Johnson wrote.

Fast 8 is set to hit theaters on April 14, 2017.
