The promo video of the upcoming episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ shows that Rayna apparently convinced Stefan Salvatore to transfer the mark to his brother Damon.

In the previous episode, viewers saw Stefan come up with the perfect plan to kill Rayna. But unfortunately, the plan had to be dropped after Bonnie, played by Kat Graham, informed him that Rayna is on her last life. This then means that if she dies, everyone who has been marked dies with her. Damon then decides to sacrifice his own life to save his brother and agrees to have the mark transferred.
