She is seen wearing a black bikini and striped cat-eye sunglasses. She has captioned the picture with a message. “Not a slave to perfection right now.”

From the Instagram message it appears that Kesha is proud of her bikini body and doesn’t care what anybody thinks of her. She has particularly targeted body shamers.

“Body shamers please f— off, Ain’t nobody got time for it,” she posted.

Kesha who is embroiled in a legal battle with her record producer Dr. Luke, previously struggled with an eating disorder.

“I’m trying to embrace the skin I’m in,” she told in an interview with Vogue. “It’s difficult sometimes. Every day I have to look in the mirror and make the choice to be kind to myself. This is who I am – I have to love that.”

In the wake of her legal battle with Dr. Luke, Kesha has found support in Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift among others. The “Die Young” singer has alleged Dr. Luke of drugging and raping her and for abusing her emotionally and verbally. He, however, has denied the charges and is countersuing her for breach of contract and defamation.

“I didn’t rape Kesha and I have never had sex with her,” he tweeted in January.

Meanwhile, the singer’s request for a preliminary injunction was dismissed. Her legal team is fighting for her to be freed from recording contracts with Dr. Luke.

“The court erred in basing its decision on its finding that Kesha could record without interference from Gottwald. Although it recognized that ‘slavery was done away with a long time ago’ and that ‘[y]ou can’t can’t force someone to work … in a situation in which they don’t want to work,’ the Court’s ruling requiring Kesha to work for Gottwald’s companies, purportedly without his involvement, does just that,” Kesha’s lawyer, Mark Geragos said.

Dr. Luke’s attorney, Cristine Lepera has dismissed the singer’s allegations calling them to be false.

“Her attorneys can continue manufacturing even more false and outrageous claims, but the fact remains that her time would be better spent in a studio than wasting time having her lawyer and mother spin lies in the media,” she said.
