‘NCIS’ Season 13: Cote de Pablo disrespect won’t see her return in Michael Weatherly’s farewell episode

CBS network TV series “NCIS” is going to have its Michael Weatherly farewell episode as the Season 13 finale approaches. However, Cote de Pablo, who played the character Ziva David in the series has revealed that she won’t be returning for the farewell ride since she feels that her character was not treated with the deserved respect. Pablo had left the series in Season 11.

Cote de Pabo recently made an appearance at Babson College where she revealed her reason of not attending Michael Weatherly’s farewell episode in the series. She said that even though she loved the character Ziva David, she was not impressed with how the writers were taking the character ahead.

“Unfortunately, because of political things and the scripts not being good enough, I chose not to [continue],” de Pablo said, as reported by UPI.

Although the 36-year-old actress did not reveal much on the political issue, she said that the writers were planning to send Ziva David back to Israel and make her an unfortunate, miserable woman. This direction seemed unfair to the Chilean and she thus decided of not coming back until something fantastic was written.

“I didn’t think it was fair. Until someone can really write something fantastic for her, I won’t come back.” Pablo added.

Meanwhile, there has been no specific reason as to why Cote de Pablo won’t return as Ziva David in “NCIS”, according to Buddy TV. A month back, a Twitter account which closely follows the work of the actress revealed that the character Ziva won’t be returning to the CBS series.

The tweet also highlighted and assured the fact that Michael Weatherly’s farewell episode will be devoid of Cote de Pablo.

I am really going to miss her, but I understand why she won’t be returning. That is a shame that they were changing her character. I hope they are satisfied.
