The release date of One Punch Man Season 2 will be expected to announce soon and fans continue to speculate on the new enemy that Saitama will face.
The official Twitter account of One Punch Man has announced its return for a second season but did not give additional information regarding the exact date of the release. One Punch Man has obtained a positive feedback from its viewers, who is patiently waiting for its return in action.
With the finale of Season 1, Saitama faced Lord Boros, who believed that the bald-headed hero was the one stated in the prophecy. It was clear that Lord Boros cannot match Saitama’s power. His ability to regenerate is useless for a man who can destroy him in just one punch.
However, speculations continue to persist that Lord Boros will be having another appearance in the upcoming season. With this, fans are expecting for a more powerful nemesis who could force Saitama to use his full strength. As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the new antagonist.
Last season, it was hinted that Amai Mask, class A hero, and Metal Knight, the class S hero, could be the possible antagonist in One Punch Man Season 2. Amai Mask said that the reason why he is not stepping up to the Class S rank is that he finds the other heroes weak and a disappointment for the association.
His power is still a mystery since he was not seen in action last season. Still, it is questionable if he could be a threat to Saitama who easily kills every enemy with just one punch. With Metal Knight, he could possibly be the enemy that Genos is looking for a long time.
With the defeat of the alien invaders, a hero warned Genos to stay away from Metal Knight. However, it is not a secret that Genos wanted to destroy him. Also, there are rumors that Garou will be the strongest enemy that Saitama will face.
Garou is a former disciple of bang, a class S hero. The hero association sees him as a ‘Mysterious Being’ and gave him the title of ‘Human Monster’. Garou is the opposite of Saitama. The bald-headed hero wanted to be a hero to fight villains while Garou wants to be a monster to defeat the heroes.
From the time he left Bang’s Dojo, Garou trained by himself to become more powerful. As of now, it remains a mystery how can a human match the godlike power of Saitama. According to Comic Book, One Punch Man Season 2 will be released in 2017 with a mobile game to match.
