Hillary Clinton to lose presidential bid due to health issues?

Presidential aspirant Hillary Clinton could lose her bid for the White House following her medical episode on Sunday in New York. Clinton was previously diagnosed with pneumonia by her doctor, which could have triggered her fainting spell during a memorial service.

Health conditions could be an issue for Clinton, who fainted during a memorial service commemorating the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Aside from allergies that have hampered her campaign trail, Clinton also has a history of concussion.

Clinton’s opponent to the presidency and Republican representative Donald Trump has asked Clinton to make public her detailed medical records. They are accusing Clinton’s camp of conspiracy and covering up her health issues.

On Sunday, Fox News reported that members of the US secret service pulled out an unstable Clinton from the ceremony. A video showed Clinton staggering on her way to a waiting van. She even lost a shoe during the incident and was taken to Chelsea’s Manhattan apartment.

The New York Times reported that Clinton’s physician, Dr. Lisa R. Bardack, came in to check on her. Bardack in a statement said that Clinton’s condition was due to pneumonia and dehydration. She added that Clinton had a cough last Friday stemming from her allergies. She was later diagnosed with pneumonia.

A spokesperson for the Clinton campaign stated that the presidential candidate “felt overheated” but has been re-hydrated and is feeling well. After her fainting incident, Clinton walked out of her daughter’s apartment smiling, waving to the people and gladly took part in photoshoots before leaving.

With her health condition, Bardack advised Clinton to rest and “modify” her campaign schedule. Bardack added that Clinton has been re-hydrated and is recovering nicely.

“Secretary Clinton has experienced a cough related to allergies. On Friday, we found out she had pneumonia during a follow-up evaluation of her prolonged cough. While at this morning’s event, she became overheated and dehydrated. I have just examined her and she is now re-hydrated and recovering nicely,” Bardack said.

With Clinton’s medical episode, Trump and the Republican Party will surely pressure her to show her medical history. It could also be used to derail her from the campaign trail as the US election is just around the corner.
