Rapper Lil Wayne tweets he was kicked out of Miami Heat game

Rapper Lil Wayne claimed he was kicked out of Sunday afternoon’s NBA game because he was rooting for the visiting Los Angeles Lakers while they were playing at the Miami Heat.

Lil Wayne, aka Dwayne Michael Carter Junior, sent a tweet from his personal account at 5:01 p.m. that said:

According to CBS Miami, Witnesses said Lil Wayne bad mouthed fans and players including Heat star Chris Bosh, who he called “soft.” Soon after he was approached by arena security and left the game.

A Heat spokeswoman told the USA Today Sports that Lil Wayne was not kicked out but instead he chose to leave the game.

The Heat went on to defeat the Lakers 107-97, thanks to a combined 62 points between star players Lebron James and Dwayne Wade.
