Ravens wrap up final practice at home
The Baltimore Ravens wrapped up its final practice at their facilities on Saturday and then started to pack their bags.
According to the Associated Press, after a day off on Sunday, the Ravens will then head to New Orleans for the Super Bowl.
“We’ve had a great week. We had an excellent practice,” Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh said after the closed two-hour session. “The guys are very sharp and they’re excited. We’ll have to go down there and do just as well or do better.”
Luckily for the Ravens, there is another whole week to go, because the Ravens are a banged up bunch as 19 players were listed on the injury report with all of them being listed questionable. However, with another week of healing you can bet all of those players are going to give it a go like Ravens starting inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe who, according to the Baltimore Sun, missed a third straight day of practice.
“Any time off is good for you when you’re hurting,” Ellerbe told The Baltimore Sun on Friday. “I’m going to need a couple more days. I’m glad we got two weeks and we’re not playing this Sunday. If I had to, I could fight through it this Sunday. It’s the Super Bowl.”
