Sergio Kindle Arrested for Drunk Driving

Baltimore Ravens rookie Sergio Kindle has had a bad first season in the NFL. He’s been out with a skull injury for the entire 2010 season, after falling down a staircase just three days before training camp opened.

Now, as the Balitmore Sun reports, he has been arrested and charged with drunken driving in Howard County. He was ticketed for speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, and failing to obey traffic control devices.

Howard County police spokeswoman Sherry Lleyellyn said that Kindle was arrested without incident. He was taken into custody and released after posting $10,000 bond.

“I just want to apologize to the organization, because I don’t want to bring a negative light to the team,” Kindle said. “It was my mistake. I can’t take it back now. I don’t know what’s going to happen from here.”
