Italian Serie A giants AC Milan is plotting a $50 million transfer bid for Chelsea attacking midfielder Oscar. The Rossoneri are chasing Champions League football after two years of absence from the tournament and are willing to spend big, especially after the recent takeover by a Chinese consortium.
Oscar is one of the important players in manager Antonio Conte’s squad. He has started in five of The Blues’ last six Premier League games. However, the Italian manager prefers a 3-5-2 formation and could shift to it after the recent poor performances.

If Conte does shift to a 3-5-2 formation, it would force the Brazilian out of the starting eleven. This will open up an opportunity for AC Milan to come in and snatch the player away from the London based club, as reported by Italian publication CalcioMercatoWeb.
Conte is also willing to let go of the player if he is unable to find a place for the midfielder in his starting eleven. However, for Milan to walk away with the player, they have to pay the price which Chelsea Oscar at.
The price however, with the recent cash flow at the club, will not come in the way for Milan.
Meanwhile, AC Milan has been linked to a host of Premier League players recently. They were tipped to be interested in Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur and Memphis Depay of Manchester United to name a few, as reported by The Express.
The club is currently placed sixth in the Serie A table, five points behind champions Juventus.
