A big announcement is said to be coming from Zlatan Ibrahimovic sometime this week. Much speculation has gone around of a possible transfer to Manchester United after he has left Paris Saint-Germain. As of now he is available, but that could soon change with the coming announcement.

On his interview with Swedish television station Fotbollskanalen he has said that he will be making a big announcement on June 7. He also said that the announcement would be a bomb. He has hinted that so much will be happening with the news.

With this revelation talks about a transfer to Manchester has only grown much more. So far he has not revealed where he would be transferring but said that he would say where he would go to once he has grown tired of all the speculation. If he has not chosen any team by June 30, Ibrahimovic will become a free agent after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires.

The Daily Mail says that he is expected to have a one-year contract with Manchester in time for the European Championship in France. Before this, he has been with Sweden’s Euro 2016 warm-up match against Wales.

Though Sweden will be coming to France this week, manager Erik Hamren will have some time off where he can make his own plans but also said that he will not speculate on what the striker would be doing, Manchester Evening News says.

Whether Ibrahimovic will be with Manchester remains to be seen. Earlier new Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said that he will not be taking players from his own country, Portugal but has not said yet on whether the team has plans for Ibrahimovic.
