LeBron James vs Kobe Bryant: Only three more head-to-head match-ups left for the all-time greats

LeBron James vs Kobe Bryant: Only three more head-to-head match-ups left for the all-time greats

National Basketball Association (NBA) team Los Angeles Lakers are out of playoff contention. Taking that into account, only three more games are left for the fans to see the legendary faceoff between Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

Two of the games will happen this week. On Wednesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Los Angeles Lakers and on Sunday, both Bryan and James will take on each other in the annual East vs. West match-up in the All-Star Game.

For those who want to see both the legends square off against each other, these final three games would be the last opportunity of witnessing two all-time greats take on each other.

James was in all admiration for Bryant, who is currently playing out his final season in the NBA.

“Anytime I even watch his games, even when I’m not playing him, it’s always like very emotional knowing it’s his last hurrah.” James said after Cavaliers beat Sacramento Kings 120-100, as reported by ESPN.

According to reports, Bryant will be honored with a pregame video by the Cavaliers like many other teams this season.

LeBron was emotional when speaking about his fond memories with the Lakers’ shooting guard.

“I think my most fond moment is he gave me his shoes when I was in high school,” LeBron added.

LeBron added that the shoes were a pair of Bryant’s signature Adidas’ with a U.S. flag motif. However, he was quick to note that he does not have the shoes anymore. LeBron has recently signed a lifetime contract with Nike.

Most of LeBron’s response towards Bryant was positive. However, when asked about how his relationship with the “Black Mamba” is at present, the small forward was coy on his response.

“I don’t want to answer that.” James stated.

Lakers will face Cavaliers for the third time in a regular season game on March 10, 2016.
