The interim coach of the New York Knicks, Kurt Rambis has liked a pornographic tweet from his Twitter account. The action has created a huge stir within social media.
Kurt Rambis, New York Knicks assistant coach has blamed his Twitter account being allegedly hacked the cause behind ‘liking’ a pornographic tweet. The Knicks are currently working alongside Twitter to discover how Rambis’ account liked the tweet, as reported by ESPN.
This is not the first time however when Kurt Rambis has been on the news because of a Twitter scandal. Previously, the 57-year-old was accused of liking a tweet involving money lending.
“Kurt did not like those items on his Twitter page and we worked with Twitter to make sure the situation did not happen again.” Jonathan Supranowitz, vice president of the New York Knicks said.
Rambis has been using Twitter since 2012, but the former Los Angeles Lakers power forward has only 1,371 tweets on his account. The Twitter account has been deleted after the incident, as reported by The Comeback.
Rambis was drafted by the New York Knicks in 1980 as the 58th pick. However, the man from Terre Haute, Indiana spent the majority of his playing career with the Lakers.
He took over as the interim coach of the New York Knicks from ex-Laker Derek Fisher, who was fired earlier this season. Fisher had a 17-65 maiden-season record and a 23-31 start to the 2015-16 campaign.
It has to be noted that Rambis did not update his Twitter account to post his new job status. This makes the hacking of his Twitter account rumor stronger and closer to being justified.
