UFC 196: Conor McGregor says Rafael dos Anjos broke his foot and ‘v – – – – a’

The UFC 196 main fight event, which was initially scheduled to be between Conor McGregor and Rafael dos Anjos, has taken a new turn. Nate Diaz has been roped in to fight against McGregor after Dos Anjos had to withdraw.

UFC lightweight champion dos Anjos had to withdraw from the UFC 196 fight due to a broken foot and now McGregor has slammed Dos Anjos for opting out of the fight.

According to fighter who is known for his trash talking, his opponents want to face him, but then fall through in the last minute.

MMA Fighting reports McGregor saying that Rafael dos Anjos has broken “his foot and his v—-a” in the same day.

“They all have sore v—-as lately, it’s crazy. There’s something going on, I don’t know. Dos Anjos broke his foot and his v—-a in the same damn day. Same with [Frankie] Edgar. I couldn’t believe the odds of that to happen,” he said.

The UFC initially offered Frankie Edgar to replace Dos Anjos. He however, refused stating a torn groin. This was more than enough for McGregor to slam down Edgar at a press conference on Wednesday.

More than Edgar, it was Dos Anjos instead who had to take Conor’s harshest words. According to him, the picture that Dos Anjos put up on in Instagram is nothing but a picture of a bruised foot.

McGregor speculated that ice would have worked wonders. McGregor implied that the injury is minor and that if Rafael had put ice on his injury it would have healed instead of withdrawing from the fight.

“Did you see it? It’s a bruise. Ice. Ibuprofen. If I jumped under an X-ray [with that], the doctor would slap me and say, ‘What are you doing kid? Get out of here, stop this.’”

McGregor had all eyes for the lightweight belt. But for now the fight for welterweight belt is what he is focused on next.
