Chris Paul, John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, and Kyle Lowry display their impressive skills and made it into the NBA Top Ten Plays of the eight-game Friday slate.
The second half of the NBA regular season is now back in full swing, and the top squads came out to play in a busy eight-game slate on Friday night.
Among the big winners on Friday night were the Los Angeles Clippers, Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, and the Toronto Raptors.
The Clippers steamrolled past Pacific Division rival Sacramento Kings, 117-107, to solidify their standing in fourth place in the West with a 38-20 (won-lost) mark. Not far behind are the fifth-placed Memphis Grizzlies, which manhandled the Los Angeles Lakers, 112-95.
On the other hand, the Dallas Mavericks – barely hanging onto the sixth spot – stamped its class on the struggling Denver Nuggets, 122-116, in overtime.
But the highlight game of the night happened over in the wild Eastern Conference, where the Toronto Raptors shocked the conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers, 99-97, behind a game-winning shot from Kyle Lowry in the dying seconds of the match.
At the middle of the pack, the Atlanta Hawks are now a game behind from the number four seed after downing the Chicago Bulls, 103-88; with the Charlotte Hornets stunning the Indiana Pacers, 96-95, to come within half a game of snatching sixth place.
Among the outside looking were the Washington Wizards, which picked up a much-needed win over the Philadelphia 76ers, 103-94; while the New York Knicks trumped the Orlando Magic, 105-98.
