Stephen Curry beats out the old mark for most regular season games with a three pointer set by Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver from 2012 to 2014.
Is it safe to say that Stephen Curry the best three-point shooter of all time?
With 5:45 left in the third quarter, Curry broke Kyle Korver’s record for most NBA regular season games with a three-point shot made. The active record now stands at 128 games, while Korver’s former record stood at 127.
Aside from Korver, Curry now joins the likes of Dana Barros (1994 to 1996) with 89, Michael Adams (1988 to 1989) with 79, and Dennis Scott (1995 to 1996) with 78 as part of the top five all-time.
Additionally, Stephen Curry also joined a legendary Golden State Warrior in Rick Barry as part of an exclusive club in their 130-114 win over the Magic on Thursday night.
But despite becoming the new three-point record holder, Curry is also on target to break his own mark of 286 three-pointers made last season. Entering their game against Orlando, he already had 266 made this season so far.
