Apple slated their iPhone 7 release date this week along with its Plus version’s complete features and details. Various sources mentioned that these two new iPhone models do not have significant differences with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
General users won’t easily determine the differences between the earlier released iPhone 6 units and iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. This is because they do have similar designs as well as its features and storage capacities.
According to Mac Rumors, the features that set apart from iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus versions compared to the earlier iPhone 6 units are its enhanced water resistant capacity and no headphone jack installed.
The source said that this is Apple’s strategy to provide an upgraded speaker as well as a new sensor for Force Touch and AirPods. In that way, the new audio features could fit in to the new amplifying demands.
Apple Insider showed a photo of the iPhone 7 Plus package which they received from an anonymous user lately. The image featured a back part of the box stating descriptions of the package contents.
Based from the content of the box, it stated that there would be a bundle of new units of new EarPods which preferably called “AirPods” to replace the usual earphones.
This sounded enticing for everyone, but there is also a high possibility that the user doctored the image to make it seem that Apple will release the AirPods inside the packages. Although the report remained a doubt, the same source noted that this could also be true.
If the image is real, users could expect that with the new units, there would be no headphone jacks seen in the exterior of the phones. In addition to that, the design itself accommodates the users’ water activities without bothering about damaging the model because of a much improved IPX7 water resistance.
Aside from the enhanced audio quality of these phones, Apple also improved its earpiece receiver to work as a phone speaker. That makes the new audio amplifier for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which lies on top of the device instead of having the speaker at the back of the phone.
Furthermore, Mac Rumors also cited about the extended memory storage for both of these models. That means the users can finally utilize the 256 GB memory, which is enough to support 3 GB DRAM for 12MP dual-lens camera and 2 GB for iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 respectively.
In the meantime, tech savvies should wait for the official launching during the nearing Apple event this Wednesday. From there, see whether these leaked information about the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 units are true or not at all.
