Apple’s current smartphone, the iPhone 7 has recently been released around the world last Friday, September 16. Following its release, many fans are expecting for the launch of its highly anticipated MacBook Pro 2016.
Past speculations suggested that the MacBook Pro 2016 was to be launched along with the iPhone 7 weeks ago, however, that did not happen. Apple could unveil the top of the line laptop next month, but many believe that the tech company will probably reveal the said laptop during the last quarter of 2016.
GamenGuide reports that the MacBook Pro 2016 release date might depend on the processor that it will have and in turn will also affect its price and capabilities. There are reports that the MacBook Pro 2016 will run the sixth generation Skylake processor from Intel and the high-end laptop also comes with more improved internals. However, reports are also indicating that the top of the line laptop would also run a Kaby Lake processor since this will offer better battery life and performance for the upcoming MacBook Pro.
The Cupertino-based company might not be changing the processor of the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016, according to a report from Mobile & Apps. Instead, it will use another processor like they did with iPhone 7 which has an A10 fusion processor. The headphone jack might also be removed to follow the trend that they did to their latest smartphone.
According to several tech observers, the MacBook Pro 2016 will have an OLED function bar with a Touch ID functionality that will allow fingerprint logins just like the feature they have on their iPhones. It is also expected to have a slimmer and lighter body than its predecessors. Surely, it will have a powerful set of a processor; so, gamers might also consider purchasing it.
The main cause of the MacBook Pro 2016 delay might be these major changes, but consumers will wait for its release as long as it will meet their expectations. From being able to use the Apple Pencil on the screen, getting rid of the earphone jack and to have a possible battery life, changes are coming and it is really worth the wait.
