According to The Associated Press, Woods feels that he played better in his second round and said he did the best that he could under the conditions, with which the golfers were faced with.
“I thought I played well today. I made a couple putts here and there, but it was tough out there. The greens got a little quicker, a little bit drier and the rough is certainly getting deeper and more lush,” Woods told the media after having completed his second round on Friday.
According to Reuters, Woods played in a threesome with the world’s number one player Luke Donald and U.S. Open winner Rory McLlroy. Woods showed that he is back in the type of form, which had earned him four majors and almost twelve years as the world’s number one ranked golfer. According to Yahoo Sports, the leaderboard shows that Woods is only two shots of the lead and the world’s number one golfer Luke Donald is six shots of the lead.
