UFC 200 suspended MMA fighters include Miesha Tate, Sage Northcutt, Travis Browne out until 2017; Complete list here!

The top three on the list of UFC 200 suspended MMA fighters includes Miesha Tate, Sage Northcutt and Travis Browne due to medical reasons. Miesha Tate got a broken bone in her nose after her recent fight against Amanda Nunes. The same situation can be said about the remaining two.

Miesha Tate’s doctors declared no contest for 185 days with minimum suspension of 60 days with no contact for 45 days. Hence, MMA fans will not be able to see her for the next two months at least.

Yet, based on recent news, she won’t be able to fight any UFC contests until 2017, according to an official statement from the organization. That means, there will be no rematch for Tates and Nunes soon. Fans need to wait until her full recovery after the broken nose injury, NESN reported.

Other UFC 200 MMA fighters have the same fate as Tates like Northcutt and Browne. According to the MMA Fighting‘s official list, there are 11 officially declared fighters for suspension for medical reasons.

  • Miesha Tate – Must have broken nose cleared by ENT doctor or no contest until January 6, 2017; Minimum suspension no contest until September 8, no contact until August 24.
  • Travis Brown – Must have right wrist cleared by doctor or no contest until January 6, 2017; Minimum suspension no contest until August 24, no contact until August 9.
  • Sage Northcutt – Must have left elbow x-rayed, if positive then needs doctor clearance or no contest until January 6, 2017; Minimum no contest until August 24, no contact until August 9.
  • Raphael Assuncao – Must have nose -rayed, if positive then needs doctor clearance or no contest until January 6, 2017.
  • Diego Sanchez – Must have right orbital and nasal fractures cleared by ENT ophthalmologist or no contest until January 6, 2017; Minimum suspension no contest until until August 24, no contact until August 9.
  • Mark Hunt – Suspended until August 24, no contact until August 9
  • Anderson Silva – Suspended until August 24, no contact until August 9 due to laceration
  • Frankie Edgar – Suspended until August 24, no contact until August 9 due to facial lacerations.
  • Enrique Martin – Suspended until September 8, no contact until August 24.
  • Thiago Santos – Suspended until September 8, no contact until August 24.
  • Takanori Gomi – Suspended until August 24, no contact until August 9.

If there is no progress in terms of these UFC 200 suspended MMA fighters’ health, they won’t be allowed to join and fight in the Octagon in the near future.
