Cavaliers’ LeBron James claims best social media personality in NBPA’s Players Choice awards

By on

LeBron James recently won the NBA title for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He also got his NBA Finals MVP trophy there. But now, he just added two awards to his wonderful career.

These awards are called the ‘best social media personality’ and ‘the player you wish was secretly on your team’ from the NBPA’s Players Choice awards.

Winning the award is notable since LeBron shut downed his social media before the start of the NBA playoffs this year to focus on his team. However, when he is not playing, he is as active as most NBA players in the league does in the social media.

James might have won the award due to his dedication in playing the game and also to the buzz he creates in his social media.

LeBron trends on the social media when he shares his thoughts regarding the campaign of his team. He is notable last year when he posted a tweet towards Kevin Love of not-fitting-in with the Cavaliers. This has led to speculations of the netizens of James having a displeasure of playing with Love.

Moreover, James and Love might have already forgotten their differences as both players won the NBA Finals recently. The two have a picture of hugging each other upon winning the crown.

Another NBPA award that LeBron bagged is the player you wish was secretly on your team.

Here is the video from the NBPA showing it.

It is a given for NBA players around the league to include LeBron as a secret teammate in their lineups. This is because, in every team that he joined, he has given them a title. James deserved this since he is also a four-time NBA MVP in the league. Two more against the league’s reigning MVP, Steph Curry.
