“With the Zaza situation it looks very likely to happen and should happen today. As far as I know the deal is agreed between clubs. The personal terms are also agreed and he is due in London today, so we hope it will be done.” Slaven Bilic, West Ham manager said, as reported by theguardian.

Zaza will initially switch to West Ham on a loan before The Hammers pay the club record $31.5 million to Juventus in 12 months’ time.  The 25-year-old player will certainly ease the striker situation for Bilic, who has seen the likes of Andy Carroll and new acquisition Andre Ayew sidelined due to long-term injuries.

Zaza was not a regular starter during his time at Juventus. He made a total of 19 appearances for the Bianconeri in the Serie A, last season in which he found the net 9 times. He has a shot accuracy of 57% and an average pass accuracy of 76%. He created a total of 6 chances for his team, according to Squawka.
