WWE Elimination Chamber results

World Wrestling Entertainment’s final pay-per-view before Wrestlemania is the Elimination Chamber. The Elimination Chamber was live from Milwaukee, Wisconsin last night and it was filled with surprising returns and almost the upset of the century. The first match was the chamber match for the WWE Championship.

-CM Punk retained his championship defeating The Miz, Chris Jericho, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and Dolph Ziggler. Chris Jericho was taken out of the match after he was kicked in the head by CM Punk. The injury seemed suspicious and it could be foreshadowing the Wrestlemania main event between CM Punk and Chris Jericho. According to WWE.com, Jericho was unavailable for a comment after the match.

-WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix retained her championship against Tamina Snuka. Phoenix kicked out of the Super fly Splash and eventually hit the Glam Slam for the victory. Beth Phoenix has been on a roll as of late and it seems no diva can stop her.

-Alberto Del Rio and Christian both made their return in a segment that focused on how the interim general manager of Raw and Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis should have the interim tag removed. Both showed their support for Laurinitis. David Otunga, the husband of pop star Jennifer Hudson, also showed his support for Laurinitis in this segment.

-Santino Marella was show preparing for his match “Rocky” style by drinking raw eggs and running up a long flight of stairs.

-World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan retained his championship by defeating Wade Barrett, Big Show, The Great Khali, Cody Rhodes and Santino Marella. According to WrestlingInc.com, Randy Orton suffered a concussion and was unable to compete.

-Sheamus attacked Bryan after the match. It was clear that Sheamus will be fighting Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania.

-The United States Championship was on the line as Jack Swagger defeated Justin Gabriel in a quick match.

-In the main event of the evening John Cena defeated Kane in an Ambulance Match. The finish of the match saw John Cena hit his finishing maneuver “The Attitude Adjustment” off the top of the ambulance on Kane causing him to fall onto the side of the stage. Cena then picked Kane up and placed him in the ambulance and the match was over.

Monday Night Raw should be interesting to see  after what occurred at the Elimination Chamber.
