Former WWE Women’s Championship title holder Sasha Banks finally returned to the WWE at Monday Night Raw to deliver what she initially teased as ‘bad news’, to worried fans. Fortunately (for her fans), the bad news wasn’t about Banks but was apparently a Bank Statement submission for Dana Brooke and a title match announcement for Charlotte.
Banks had been out of the ring since her loss to Charlotte at SummerSlam, where she appeared to sustain a very serious injury after Charlotte dropped her from the middle rope. The gif below should refresh your memory.
In the lead-up to last night’s episode of Raw, Sasha had shared an alarming Tweet (which can be seen below), leaving a lot of WWE fans on the edge of their seats (or couches).

The Tweet prompted a lot of her fans to suspect that the wrestler would announce her retirement, at Monday Night Raw. They also took to Twitter to air out their concern.

When Banks entered the ring around the third hour of the show, pretty much the whole place became quiet tuning into what the Boss had to say.
“There’s a saying that every journey has an end,” opened Banks at Monday Night Raw. “And every story has a final chapter,” further fueling the anticipation of her followers.
But apparently, the entire lead-up was a ruse, and Banks’ story in the WWE has not yet ended.
In the middle of her speech, she was cut by Dana Brooke, who then became the receiving end of a painful Bank Statement. After making good work of Brooke, she finally announced her “bad news” that she would be facing Charlotte for the Women’s Championship title at the upcoming Clash of Champions event.
The whole exchange was also shared via Twitter.
