John Cena injury update; The Rock, Wyatt family’s WWE future after WrestleMania 32

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) WrestleMania 32 saw John Cena makes a return after serving a lengthy spell off the ring nursing an injury. The “Cenation” leader looked to be in a groove as he teamed up with The Rock to take on the Wyatt family. However, is Cena fit enough to regularly feature as a wrestler for the company following WrestleMania? It certainly doesn’t seem so considering WWE color commentator JBL’s comment during the Mania segment.

“I know for a fact that John Cena is in no condition to be out here. He may look great, I guarantee you he is not well enough to have done what he’s done” JBL said as Cena was walking out of the ring and heading towards backstage.

Cena’s appearance at WrestleMania 32 may be a one-off affair considering the wrestler’s huge popularity amongst the audience. WWE wanted to capitalize featuring The Rock and Cena once again in the ring and they did so. However, making a return and then continuing as a regular wrestler day in and day out may not be a possibility for Cena so soon, based on JBL’s statement.

It was reported earlier that the possible return date for the 38-year-old may be in July, this year. However, looking at Cena providing an Attitude Adjustment to the 315 lb Erick Rowan may give a small hint that the man from West Newbury, Massachusetts is recovering well.

Meanwhile, WWE may be building something great for the Wyatt family. Despite the clan being portrayed weakly at WrestleMania 32 as they went down easily to both The Rock and Cena, the Wyatt’s may be provided with an opportunity to strike back.

The company may have different creative ideas if they want to push the Wyatt family towards big time. WWE might engage them in a feud with John Cena after he makes a return, thus allowing the 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion is helping Bray Wyatt get over.

Or, they could be booked against The Rock at WrestleMania 33 which will be massive for the Wyatt’s reputation. Defeating The Great One at The Grand Daddy of Them All will certainly be a major boost to “The Eater of the Worlds” clan.
