According to Ringside News, WWE chairman Vince McMahon may be interested in re-signing the former “Tough Enough” winner back to his company. He is reportedly asking people backstage if Morrison is under a contract with a wrestling promotion.
It is believed that due to the success of many independent stars such as Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Samoa Joe and A.J. Styles, McMahon has been more open to dealing with former superstars who made it big outside the company.
John Morrison has expressed his interest in coming back to the WWE in an interview with the World According to Wrestling podcast. He revealed that he wants to wrestle Seth Rollins, who is a longtime friend of his, and Roman Reigns.
“I’d just love to have a great match with Seth Rollins. Roman Reigns, I’d love to wrestle him in like 10 years if he’s still wrestling, because by then hopefully he’d figure out how to work,” Morrison said via The Inquisitr.
