WWE: ‘Arrow’ actor Stephen Amell vs. Stardust at WrestleMania 32?; Jericho hosts daughters on his podcast

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) WrestleMania 32 is just a few weeks away and the company is slowly starting to build up the event by announcing new storylines. Recently, a rumor surfaced suggesting that superstar Stardust is set for a match against ‘Arrow’ actor Stephen Amell at the upcoming Mania, although nothing has been confirmed yet.

This is not the first time when Stephen Amell featured in a WWE ring. WWE has always been known to introduce Hollywood celebrities in its storylines and the last time the ‘Arrow’ actor was seen wrestling in a match was in the SummerSlam pay-per-view in 2015. Stephen Amell teamed up with Neville to face Wade Barrett and Stardust, with Amell going on to win the bout.

At WrestleMania 32 set to be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, WWE creative is thinking of pitting the 34-year-old celebrity against Dusty Rhodes’ son. This time the match will be a one-on-one with no stipulations on the agenda, as reported by Wrestling Inc.

Having Stephen Amell will surely be a boost in ticket sales for WWE since the ‘Arrow’ actor is a popular figure amongst the masses. However, pitting an untrained wrestler could be a worry since there is always a chance of an injury. It will be upon Cody Rhodes, aka Stardust to work out the moves and take care of the safety requirements in the match.
