WWE champion Roman Reigns reveals his secret on how to be a good husband

WWE World Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns is one of the most polarizing figures in the sports entertainment industry. Many fans would like to know some details about his personal life and in a recent interview, Reigns revealed his “secret” on how to be a good husband.

The WWE Network show, Unfiltered with Renee Young, returned for its second season and his first guest was none other than the WWE champion. One of the questions asked to Reigns is how does he make his marriage work despite the rigorous schedule of being a WWE superstar.

“There’s no secret. It’s hard work. You have to know how to give and take. That’s the toughest part that I deal with now, is just being there. We’re good about that because I played football in the CFL,” Reigns said, via Cageside Seats.

“To be honest, when we first met we were kind of like glued to each other, you know what I mean? Just didn’t have a care in the world or worry about anybody else but I’m a grown up now,” he added.

For those who don’t know, Roman Reigns married longtime girlfriend Galina Becker last December 2014 at Disney’s Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. He met Becker when they were both attending Georgia Tech University where she was a track and field star.

They have one daughter, Joelle, who appeared in a public service announcement with Reigns in June 2014. Young also asked Reigns what was their wedding song. The WWE champion was on a Disney cruise so it came from a Disney movie.

“We took a Disney cruise when we got married, so we were limited. It was ‘A Whole New World,’” Reigns answered.

Roman Reigns is set to defend his WWE championship at Money in the Bank against Seth Rollins. He is in his third reign as champion but Rollins is looking to get back the title he never lost. Money in the Bank will be live on the WWE Network on June 19 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
