WWE plans championship for Dean Ambrose; Roman Reigns heel turn after WrestleMania 32?

Two members of The Shield have gone on to win the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) world heavyweight championship after the faction split up. Only Dean Ambrose is left of the trio who is yet to get his hand on the gold. However, if sources are to be believed then it is only a matter of time before Ambrose becomes world champion and it may soon come after WrestleMania 32.

Seth Rollins was the first member of The Shield to become the world champion. He carried the title for a long time before an injury forced him to give away the belt. Roman Reigns has won it twice till now and will again fight for the championship against Triple H at WrestleMania 32.

Dean Ambrose meanwhile has only become the intercontinental champion and if sources within the company are to be believed, then is set for bigger things after the upcoming Mania, as reported by Cageside Seats.

Ambrose has been one of the harder workers of WWE and is really loved by the crowd. His popularity was evident when he faced Triple H for the word heavyweight title recently at Roadblock. Despite failing to win the title, Ambrose came out of the match looking strong and heads into WrestleMania with a good chance of beating Brock Lesnar.

Ambrose has been booked against Brock Lesnar in WrestleMania 32 for a No Hold Barred match which serves him well. A rumored interference by both Bray Wyatt and Mick Foley is on the cards which may make Lesnar lose the bout, thus giving Ambrose the much-needed push towards the world title scene.

Roman Reigns has been the go ahead guy for WWE in terms of a baby face but the crowd has rarely been pleased with him. Reigns have been on the receiving end of constant boos and if he continues to receive it even after winning the championship at WrestleMania, WWE might consider turning his heel.

This will provide a massive setup for both Reigns and Ambrose to go against one another and headline a few pay-per-views along the way. The rivalry will set up a championship clash at SummerSlam resulting in Ambrose becoming the world heavyweight champion.

However, everything depends on how Ambrose fares against Lesnar in WrestleMania 32. WWE creative is considering giving Ambrose the push, but everything depends on the “Lunatic Fringe” of how he deals with the opportunity.

WWE does not have to worry about Ambrose faltering in any way. He’s been their go-to guy for a long time, and he’s more than shown that if they give him the ball, he will do more than just run with it. The match at Roadblock definitely proved that he is a main event talent and it’s about time WWE recognized it.

Sure, most of the fans are pretty sure he’s not going to beat Lesnar but intervention by the Wyatts and the fact that it’s a street fight stipulation definitely increases the odds in his favor. Imo, I think it’s about time Brock helped put someone over instead of just squashing everybody and the loss would not hurt him since it technically wouldn’t be ‘clean’.

Yes, I agree with you. I just guess what lies ahead for Brock though. We all know he will fight with Bray and have a rivalry with him. But, that will mean that he will loose to him as well.

So many losses will take the fear factor from Brock. Hope the WWE books him well. Brock is one of the few goods of WWE left at the moment.

Fair enough. Hard to tell what’s going to happen with Bray vs Brock, really. I guess we’ll just have to see. Although, I think it’ll be a good feud. I have very little faith in the WWE creative team, though.
