Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE television since winning his No Holds Barred Street Fight against Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania 32. According to the latest WWE rumors, Lesnar is close to returning and there are already plans for his next feud.
A report by Cageside Seats noted that Lesnar is set to return at the start of August to start his program for SummerSlam. There were recent speculations that The Beast Incarnate will be coming back for the WWE Live Event in Honolulu, Hawaii but it was not true.
He was reportedly advertised for a match against Kevin Owens at a local TV network in Hawaii during the recent episode of Monday Night Raw. However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer mentioned in his report that Lesnar was never scheduled to wrestle Owens in Hawaii.

According to The Inquisitr, Lesnar was supposed to face Bray Wyatt or Braun Strowman at WrestleMania but the WWE scrapped those plans. Nonetheless, it could possibly be revisited for SummerSlam as their feud was teased in January when Wyatt took him out with his Sister Abigail finisher.
On the other hand, Lesnar facing Strowman have lost its luster since the WWE removed the push it was giving to the Wyatt Family’s black sheep. He was planned winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but he ended up being beaten down by The Rock and John Cena.

Nonetheless, The Beast’s schedule this year is nothing compared to last year as he appeared several times in between WrestleMania and SummeSlam. The WWE has missed the presence of Lesnar but some of the injured stars like Cena, Orton and Seth Rollins are expected to fill the gap when they return at the end of May.
