The father-daughter tandem of Ric Flair and Charlotte has been very effective since the WWE Women’s champion keeps retaining her title. However, the latest WWE rumors suggest that the Flair family will be breaking up soon.
According to Cageside Seats, the seeds of a break up between father and daughter have already been planted during an exclusive interview with Michael Cole last Wednesday. Cole asked Charlotte if she can defeat Natalya in a Submission Match at Extreme Rules without the help of her father.

Ric was banned by Shane McMahon from ringside for the match in last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Charlotte pretended that she does not understand the question but Cole asked the same question to her father.
“Nothing is guaranteed. … I said there are no guarantees but… I think she’ll win, yes,” the 16-time World Champion said.
The question and the answer caused Charlotte to bash Cole for his question and walked off. Her father followed but the seeds of the eventual split are already in place.
Many fans are waiting for Sasha Banks to dethrone Charlotte as the Women’s champion but the WWE is not pulling the trigger yet. There is also the fact that Bayley, the former NXT Women’s champion, has not made her main roster debut.

The reign of Charlotte as champion has spanned for 237 days when she became the final Divas champion last September 2015 and the first Women’s champion in WrestleMania 32. The 30-year-old second generation wrestler has had a ton of help from her father and most recently, from “Little Naitch” Charles Robinson.
The WWE booked a screwy finish to Charlotte and Natalya’s match at Payback that led to their rematch at Extreme Rules. Charlotte will be defending her WWE Women’s championship against Natalya in a Submission at Extreme Rules this coming May 22, 2016 in Newark, New Jersey.
