WWE Rumors: Dean Ambrose to win Money in the Bank Ladder Match?

Cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase is one of the surest ways to win a world title in the WWE. According to the latest WWE rumors, Dean Ambrose may come out as the winner of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match this Sunday.

In 2005, Chris Jericho brought up the idea of the Money in the Bank briefcase that guarantees the holder to cash-in a contract anytime, anywhere. Out of the 16 cash-ins, only two have failed to win a world title, John Cena and Damien Sandow.

This year’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match features six superstars, Dean Ambrose, Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, who all are deserving of a world title shot. As mentioned in a previous report, Owens is the favorite to win this match due to Vince McMahon finally seeing the potential in him.

A leaked poster for next month’s Battleground pay-per-view has created a buzz on social media as it shows Ambrose with the MITB briefcase. You can see the poster below courtesy of The Brass Ring on Twitter.

However, The Inquisitr pointed out that the poster is possibly fan made because the date of the event was June 12. That date already passed and Battleground 2016 is set to happen on July 24 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

It should be noted that Owens and Ambrose are also the top two favorites to win this Sunday, according to oddsmakers. In the latest episode of Raw, Ambrose sent a message to Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns that he could cash-in after their match this Sunday if he wins the Money in the Bank briefcase.

The Lunatic was standing tall over his former Shield brothers but it was Chris Jericho who ended Raw with the MITB briefcase in hand. Jericho climbed up the ladder to grab it as the other five participants were laid out outside the ring.

Money in the Bank 2016 will be on Sunday, June 19 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las, Vegas Nevada.
