WWE superstar Dolph Ziggler is rumored to be leaving WWE after his contract expires next month. Reports say that Ziggler’s current contract is coming to an end late October and with that development, it is unclear whether he will re-sign with WWE or will decide to leave.
The rumors of Ziggler not re-signing with WWE came from the fact that he has not received much from the promotion aside from a world title match with Dean Ambrose a couple of weeks ago at WWE Summerslam.
Ziggler challenged Ambrose for the WWE Championship but failed to get the belt.
Although he was making rounds with good matches and all, the WWE has not been very kind to give him a title win and this is clearly not a good sign for Ziggler.
According to a source, Ziggler stated that he would love to one day go and work in another promotion, generating speculations that he will not re-sign with WWE. The said promotion where he considers to continue his career is Ring of Honor.
Inquistr also said that Zigger wouldn’t struggle to find a place to wrestle outside of WWE. Aside from Ring of Honor, TNA Wrestling is also a good fit for the superstar and that the promotion would be dying to have him if he intends to relocate his career.
Dolph Ziggler will again have the opportunity for a title belt at WWE No Mercy, which will take place in a few weeks. Either this will be the last chance Ziggler will ever have to be the Intercontinental Champion or the last time the fans will ever get to see Ziggler in WWE.
