Kevin Owens is one of the WWE’s top performers this year and may be the best pure heel in the company. According to the latest WWE rumors, Owens may be the favorite to win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match next month and hold the briefcase containing a title shot.
The WWE’s next pay-per-view will be Money in the Bank on June 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the newly-built T-Mobile Arena. One of the main matches of the event is the MITB Ladder Match wherein the winner will have a contract that allows him to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship anytime he wants.
There will be seven participants in the match and as of this writing, there are six superstars who has already qualified. Owens, Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Chris Jericho qualified in the latest episode of Monday Night Raw while Alberto Del Rio earned his place on SmackDown.

According to Cageside Seats, Owens is the early favorite to win the MITB briefcase but it should be noted that plans regularly change. It has also been mentioned that the WWE is looking for unpredictability for the match so any information for the match will be scarce.
The 32-year-old former two-time Intercontinental champion has been on a tear lately with great wrestling performances as well as entertaining commentary. He is also a hit on social media because of the way he shuts down trolls.
But before he got to this position, Owens was not liked by many top officials including WWE chairman Vince McMahon. It is a known fact the McMahon likes the prototypical wrestlers that are tall, huge and heavily muscled.

Daily Wrestling News reported that the boss has changed his opinion for Owens. The WWE chairman is rumored to be impressed with the former NXT champion’s charisma as a heel, his microphone skills and his work on commentary.
Nonetheless, it will be good to see Owens hold the MITB briefcase. There is also the upcoming brand extension that could factor in the result of the match and future of the superstars involved.
