WWE superstar and former champion Kurt Angle is seriously considering a return to the WWE fold. Rumors are swirling that it will be his last ride with the WWE as he does not plan to wrestle that long as well.
Angle appeared on Mark Madden’s radio show 105.9 The X. According to Wrestlezone, he stated that he is coming back to the WWE but he just does not know when. Angle also added that he had a talk with Triple H and Vince McMahon about the offer of coming back and noted that they had a “great talk.”
In addition, Angle noted that the WWE focused on building up new and young talents. With the imminent brand split though, the WWE is now trying to get some of the “not so older guys” to guide the young generation of wrestlers.
“Will I return? Yes,” Angle replied. “I don’t know when.”

It was reported that the WWE will have its brand draft on July 11 with SmackDown airing live starting July 19. This is why Angle and some of the old-timers, such as Rey Mysterio, Bill Goldberg, Carlito and MVP, are being recruited by McMahon and Triple H. That is, they want to further bolster the locker room of stars in SmackDown. Angle further explained that he is down with going back with WWE but hinted that he will not be wrestling for so long.
With his comeback to ring action, Angle, who is a gold medalist at the 1996 Summer Olympics, is also considering an early retirement due to some health concerns. In July 2015, Angle was expected to make an appearance at London Comic Con but his management team tweeted earlier that Angle underwent emergency surgery to remove fluid build up on his spinal cord after all of his extremities went numb. A week before this emergency, he had surgery to remove a benign tumor from his neck.
