Sami Zayn is one of the best wrestlers in the world today but he has been misused on Monday Night Raw. However, latest WWE rumors imply that Zayn’s storyline with Mick Foley will lead to a trade to SmackDown Live.

Sami Zayn confronts Mick Foley

As recapped by WWE.com, Foley once again stopped Braun Strowman from destroying Zayn. The Raw general manager believed that Strowman is too big and too powerful for the former NXT champion to conquer.

Zayn got into Foley’s faced and said that he does not understand his decision. He added that he idolized Foley because he of his fighting spirit and never give up attitude. The conversation got very heated that Foley’s false teeth came out.

Storyline to end with Sami Zayn getting traded to SmackDown Live?

According to Nick Schwartz of FOX Sports, Zayn could be on the verge of being traded to SmackDown Live. He added the Canadian star is much better suited for the blue brand, rather than Raw. He also noted that SmackDown Live GM Daniel Bryan has been trying to recruit Zayn for months now.

“A move to SmackDown would give Zayn a fresh start, and if Raw needs someone in return, Baron Corbin has been trying to get himself fired by Daniel Bryan for a while,” Schwartz reported.

Daniel Bryan also interested in Cesaro

Besides Sami Zayn, Daniel Bryan is also interested in bringing Cesaro to SmackDown Live. He has responded to all of The Swiss Superman’s rants on Twitter. However, it might be some time before he gets Cesaro to work on Tuesday nights.

Cesaro and Sheamus are slowly coming along as a tag team and they are the favorites to take away the tag team titles from The New Day. However, these are just WWE rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt.
