WWE Rumors: Original members of The Wyatt Family to reunite on SmackDown? Luke Harper cleared to wrestle

The four members of The Wyatt Family was broken up during the brand extension with two going to SmackDown Live, one assigned to Monday Night Raw and one declared as a free agent. However, the latest WWE rumors suggest that an original Wyatt Family reunion might be possible.

Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan were drafted to SmackDown Live while Braun Strowman was drafted to Raw. On the other hand, Luke Harper was declared as a free agent due to his knee injury that has sidelined him earlier in the year.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Harper has been cleared to return to the ring by WWE doctors. He is still considered as a free agent but he might be suited for the SmackDown brand since Raw is kind of stacked.

The former Intercontinental champion was reportedly backstage on this week’s Raw in Memphis, Tennessee. Sean Rueter of Cageside Seats thinks it does not necessarily mean that Harper will be on Raw and he was just probably getting his medical clearance.

If Harper goes to Raw, he can be buried in the stacked midcard and he could end up being misused. The best scenario for him is to reunite the original members of The Wyatt Family on SmackDown. He could reform his tag team with Erick Rowan to add depth to the blue brand’s tag team division.

Harper and Rowan can also help make Bray Wyatt look formidable again in his feud with Randy Orton. One of the best ways to make his return is helping Bray defeat The Viper in their upcoming match at WWE No Mercy.

Nevertheless, these are just purely speculative at the moment and nothing has been confirmed. The Wyatt Family has lost a lot if its edge after the WWE has dropped the ball on them. They were on the road to being one of the best stables but they have been booked as losers.
