With this “teaser,” rumors are circulating that the WWE superstar’s in-ring matches are far from over, which is sure to delight old and new fans, alike. The video, shown below also includes the Undertaker, Luke Harper and Emma as the three other “hottest available WWE free agents.”

The Rock was first drafted by WWE chairman Vince McMahon back in 2002, where he was selected to join SmackDown in the wrestling company’s first draft. His last fight with Erick Rowan was a sensational win, pinning the latter in six seconds, breaking the WWE record for fastest victory.

“In the original brand extension draft in 2002, Mr. McMahon chose The Rock as the top pick for SmackDown. The most electrifying man in all of entertainment has created a Hall of Fame worthy resume but as he showed at WrestleMania 32 with a record-breaking win over Erick Rowan, his in-ring career is far from over.” highlighted the video shared by the WWE.

Despite being named highest paid actor of the year with a staggering $64.5 million in earnings this year, the Rock does not seem to be keen on hanging his wrestling gloves (or elbow pads) just yet.

Prior to his record win against Rowan, the Rock was last seen in the ring in 2013 when he grabbed and defended the belt against CM Punk at Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, respectively. This was followed by a defeat by the hands of John Cena at Wrestlemania 29 where the People’s Champion seemed to hand over his throne to the Cenation Leader.

Could we expect the Rock to appear at Wrestlemania 33? With the venue confirmed to be in Orlando (a stone’s [Herculean] throw from his home in Fort Lauderdale), we just might. For now, we just have to wait until April 2, 2017 (or hopefully earlier) to find out.
