WWE Rumors: Roman Reigns turning heel really soon?

Many people believe that the WWE turning Roman Reigns heel would help him eventually get over the crowd. The latest rumors have revealed the possible plans for a possible Reigns heel turn and when will it happen.

It should be noted that The Rock started his career as not an over superstar and the WWE had no choice but to turn him heel. It did wonders for The Rock’s career and it elevated him to stardom but he also has the gift of gab that Reigns clearly does not have.

According to Four3Four, the WWE has no plans to turn Roman Reigns heel at the moment and it has not entered their minds as of late. Vince McMahon reportedly still thinks of him as the next John Cena and face of the company.

The Guy recently defeated Rusev at Clash of Champions to become the new United States champion. During the match, fans were chanting “Roman sucks” and “Let’s go, Roman” back and forth. No matter what anyone says, Reigns may indeed be the next Cena in terms of being a polarizing figure.

However, it would be much better to see him be free on the microphone as the new U.S. champion. He has improved his mic skills just a tad bit and he has a really likable personality off the camera based on appearances on “WWE Game Night” and “Up Up Down Down” segments when kayfabe is dead.

Also, rumors of a possible reunion with The Shield halts any heel turn for Reigns since Seth Rollins is already working as a babyface. On the other hand, Ambrose has gained momentum again as a face after losing the WWE World Championship.

Nevertheless, these are just WWE rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt. However, if Roman Reigns as United States champion fails to get him over or even a reunion with The Shield does not work, it may be the time to finally let him turn heel.
