Shinsuke Nakamura is currently one of the best superstars despite not being on the WWE main roster. According to the latest WWE rumors, Nakamura may be given a big push once he gets called up out of NXT.
In a report by Wrestling News, The King of Strong Style is already one of the top merchandise sellers in the company. His t-shirts which were released on May 2 in Japan quickly sold out in just a few hours and are one of the best-selling items on the online WWE Shop.
It is also mentioned in the report that his official entrance theme titled “The Rising Sun” by CFO$ was once listed as number one in the iTunes charts. “The Rising Sun” also became the first WWE music to have at least 1 million views on WWE Music’s YouTube channel.

The upcoming WWE Japan tour that features Nakamura, as well as NXT Women’s champion Asuka, sold out in just five minutes. If the ability to move merchandise gets The New Day pushed then WWE may very well give Nakamura the same treatment.
However, The New Day is not just big on sales but they are also one of the most entertaining acts in the company. On the other hand, Nakamura is considered by many as one of the best wrestlers Japan has ever produced.
He also possesses the charisma that has not been seen from other Japanese wrestlers who made it in the WWE. The former NJPW star made his NXT debut at the NXT TakeOver: Dallas event during WrestleMania weekend against Sami Zayn.

The match against Zayn is considered by many WWE fans and analysts as the leading candidate for Match of the Year. As for the rumors about Nakamura’s main roster debut, it may be near since he is being advertised for the WWE’s first live event in Hawaii in seven years.
According to Wrestling Inc, Nakamura is scheduled for the live events along with WWE superstars like A.J. Styles, Bray Wyatt, Charlotte, Chris Jericho, The New Day and Roman Reigns. The report also noted that Shinsuke Nakamura vs. John Cena will be one of the main matches on the Hawaii card.
