WWE WrestleMania 32 is fast approaching, and wrestling fans are preparing not just for the confirmed matches but especially for the WWE rumors speculating the appearances of WWE legends during the upcoming event.
It has been widely expected that Triple H will wrestle against Roman Reigns continuing the fight between the known WWE rivals. Aside from this rivalry match, Undertaker fanatics will also expect a match between the night-unbeatable Undertaker against Vince McMahon’ son, Shane McMahon.
Although the reported key matches have enticed WWE fans to watch it live at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 3, event’s organizers have ready an extra treat to convince fully the audience to rally towards the said event. According to some WWE rumors, former WWE stars will have some roles and contributions in the upcoming WrestleMania 32.
According to denofgeek, “The Rock is going to show up at some point.” Though there are still no confirmed role or storyline for The Rock’s appearance, it is being speculated that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, will have freedom to choose his role in WrestleMania. WrestlingInc also stipulated that:
“As of two weeks ago, there was still no decision made on what The Rock will be doing as he’s calling his own shots and hadn’t informed WWE officials on what’s going on.”
Forbes likewise speculated that this appearance of The Rock may definitely impact his wrestling career and possible major events in the future within WWE.
“The Rock, however, is the only legend set to appear at WrestleMania 32 who’s likely to wrestle again at some point, so his appearance could very well lead to a major match in the future,” Blake Oestriecher of Forbes opined.
With the appearances of WWE legends and Superstars, it goes to show that WWE means business, and they would want to attract many audiences by drawing in some familiar and famous names. Though there are still no confirmed roles for both Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels, Dave Meltzer on Wresting Observer via WrestingInc broke the news of the appearances of both WWE Hall of Famers.
